智能手机市场占有率计算可以有多种方法，IDC 计算制造商的出货量；Gartner 计算用户的销售量；而 ComScore 则以统计调查方式智能手机市场占有率。

根据 ComScore 最新的调查，十月美国智能手机的市场占有率调查显示 Apple iPhone 的市场占有率首次超越 Microsoft 旗下 WIndows Mobile 手机，成为市场上的二哥。一哥继续是 RIM 的 Blackberry，Palm 则排名第四。
